    1. Gary 'Good luck with that' Crowton

    2. Mr. Chips (Garber) - this guy was fired mid-season in Toronto fcs

    3. Home Psycho advantage

Winnipeg will come out of the chute with a ton of manufactured rage. If the Riders can survive the first two Wpg series they should gradually take over the match. Bombers will be playing too stiff, trying to insure not taking penalties - ie. thinking too much, not getting the jump on pass routes, etc.

Plus there's a ton of rider coaches and players who've openly tweeted or opined about 'Winning one for Lapo'....

Winnipeg matches well with just about any team except at one position. Quarterback. Until they get that position sorted out the Bombers will just keep spinning its wheels.

Richie Hall will have his men going after Joe Elliott like rabid dogs on a fawn. I'd be surprised if even Elliott can play the entire game on that cement-packed field.

Crowton obviously doesn't undertstand the nuances of the running game and he's not really taking advantage of all aspects of our passing game. Witness how many times Chad Simpson is stuffed simultaneously to receiving the pigskin. Bomber execution leaves much to be desired - offensively for sure. Bomber D will be thinking too much about not getting snookered offside and their rush will suffer as a result - same with blasting Durant - they'll wash off too much and concede too much time and space to the Dairy Maid. Garber is no Tim Burke when it comes to being a defensive genius and Burke will have his hands full on the sidelines.

Earlier in the year you'll remember I predicted an early coaching change on the bombers - just didn't realize it would be PLOP....thought Crowton would get hung out to dry!

I loved the potential of that League. Even knew some Calgary athletes that tried out for the Calgary team.

Deuvl, nice story but it has nothing to do with this thread. Suggestion. Just start a new one. :) Somehow, a dead indoor league isn't worth much of a conversation.

You forgot to add Jean Chretien's team - The Shawinigan Sell-out ....

plus a spelling error on the Wpg name - meant to be the Winnipeg Warps - management by Lord Lyle, Maggot Kelly, Count Poop Hodgkinson & BanMan Bannon
