A sad day

    Yeah, that is tragic. A young guy like him who was so giving back to the sport he loved. A real blow to football in Canada at all levels. At least he & his dad are together again...

    I am truly saddened by this news.

    A CBC news release states he died in his sleep:

    A less than 5 year span between the deaths of father and son is very tragic, quite aside from the relative youth of both Lancasters.

    Ron Sr. was only 69, and Ron Jr. just 50, when death claimed them.

    May God's blessing be upon both of them...

    Ron Jr. looked healthy. I wonder if he had health issues we didn'tknow about.

    as sad as that is i can't personally think of a better way to go.
