Saw this guy in the McDonalds drive-thru on 17th SW. At least he had BC plates; but I can't figure out what would posses someone to do this to their personal vehicle.
Yeah, no kidding. My father owned an auto body shop in Winnipeg for 36 years before he retired in 1982. My dad used to shake his head at what he thought were stupid people who put stickers on their car trunk lids & bumpers. The stickers adhere to the paint so strongly the longer they stay on. Eventually the only way to get them off is to peel the paint off with them or sand them off when they wouldn't lift off the paintf. I was only allowed to put stickers on my windows... To this day, I never put any stickers on the body of my car, just my windows. I recall people bringing their cars into our shop to get rid of the stickers & having to pay for a trunk lid or bumper to be sanded down, primed & repainted. Pretty expensive lesson.
The guy doesn't realize it but he may have to totally repaint his car especially if he wants to sell it. Fool!
