Toronto has brought in Alex Brink for training camp. It'll be interesting to see how that QB competition goes in training camp.

I am personally quite happy for Brink. He was a class act during his stay in W-Town. Very durable, got hit a ton cuz the same o-line and blocking schemes which broke Buck Pierce into pieces also "protected" Brink. In essence he looks like a young Ricky Ray, albeit without the years of gridiron treachery. Brink is one of the best 3rd Down + Sneak QBs. Barker sees something in him - but probably wants to closely assess Brink's supposed weak under-powered arm in a training camp.

That would make him a good replacement for Jackson .:)

Alex struggled as a starter for the Bombers. I think if Ray went down & he had to play a stretch of games, he'd struggle.

True, but I was thinking the 3rd down short yardage. Hopefully Harris or Collaros will mature enough to handle the true back up position.

Pretty ruthless business. Looks like Brink's playing days are over.
