drove in the winning run in game 6 of the 92 series to earn his first and only world title at some 40 years of age.

Nats win a third division title only to again fall in the playoffs. I'm calling it 'the curse of the expos'. 35 years and counting since this francise last won a playoff series back in 1981.

When Montreal and Toronto both wore blue.

    image.jpeg image.jpeg
Felix Hernandez on the left Allan ashby on the right. Maybe from the early
80's the American League teams,as I remember, had pull over jerseys, and
National league teams wore button down the front jerseys. I think Montreal
    Was in the national league.

Jays get beat, if the cubbies don't win it all, another year of the goat curse.
The Browns are must be jealous of both the cavs and Indians.
The Browns @ 0-7 they might tie the 2008 Detroit Lions.

Now the cubbies have to win it all,if not, THE GOAT CURSE LIVES!!!
On another note the Browns lost to their instate rivals, the bengals
0-7 another perfect season looms for the brownies.

Tribe leads the series 2-1, could an upset be in the works? Maybe?
Could the goat curse come back to haunt the Cubs? Possibly.
The first WS game to be hosted in the Windy City in 71years.
A 97 year old Cubs fan,Jim Schlegel returns to Wrigley field after
a 71 year hiatus.I bet the Cubs fans are glad that Steve
    Bartman isn't at Wrigley.Get ready,
    game 4 tomorrow night.

if the cubs lose sunday I'm calling it the curse of 'Ole Pete' Grover Cleveland Alexander

he was with the cubs after he served in WWI and developed epilepsy which was little known at the time and drank heavily to mask his condition. the cubs released him and he played for the House of David until the Cardinals gave him a second chance and he helped them beat the upstart Bronx bombers in 7 games in 1926 which became st-loo's first of 11 titles while the cubs still have none. I got all this from an old movie called 'The winning team' with a dapper Ronald Reagan playing Alex and a lovely Doris Day playing his wife.

not impossible to come back from 3-1 but this Cleveland team has some kind of pitching mojo going.

All or nothing for the cubbies tonight! Tribe looks to put them away fast.
At least two out of the three major sports teams knows how to win.
As for the Browns? One word this season UGH!! 0-16 looks probable.
That's interesting about the House of David baseball team, mostly
Jewish ball players, I believe they wore ZZ top beards about 100 years
    ago.

Game 7 for all the marbles tonight. Tied 3 all. One curse

The billygoat curse is hereby banished!! Now that it's gone, I wonder
if the billygoat tavern in Chicago will change its name??
