Chap rumored to be leaving SFU to be the OC in Regina
That's not going to be a good fit.
No complaints here.
BC is the land of new coaches. UBC and Simon Fraser to both hit the recruiting ground with new faces. Give that edge to Blake Nill.
Wonder how many Dinos follow him to the coast? There was what 8 that followed him to Calgary?
Former RedBlacks OC Mike Gibson is said to be the front runner for the University of Regina job.
Brian Chiu named the new RedBlacks O-line coach.
Kilam interviewed for the U of A job before it went to Chris Morris.
Steve Buratto steps aside and Wayne Harris Jr. takes over as interim HC.
Impressive resume for lil' Wayne
Yeah Kilam was a real wildcard in that competition. Aside from Morris playing in the CFL, Kilam was the only one with CFL experience. Having said that, Morris we deemed to have had more relationships in the community and brought over most of the Harry Ainlay staff with him.
I'm not as connected in the Calgary coaching community, but I'd be interested to see if Kilam's name pops up in the search. I wonder if a guy like Snoop Blokker or DD from Notre Dame would be in the running?
In an unrelated note, can Suitor go to SFU and take that job with his old alumni so we don't have to hear his voice calling a Stamps game ever again?
Not sure SFU wants their program run to the ground lol.
'There is nothing you guys can do that I would ever say is wrong. Ever.'
The Dinos have called a press conference for tomorrow, where it is expected they will name the new U of C Head Coach.
Blake Nill pulled off a major move today getting former Penn State QB Michael O'Connor to join him at UBC. They'll be a factor if they can put a defense together.
Nill's departure will be a big loss for U of C. Hopefully L'il Wayne will do a good job. The T-Birds will now be a contender for sure.
btw...I'm still not used to calling SFU the 'clan' (sounds weird), they'll always be the Clansmen to me.
