Don't expect to see much of it as TSN isn't big on showing much of any team's half time shows and this is a typical one.

They'll probably concede to showing about 20 seconds of the Murphy hilites and virtually nothing of the Harris tribute as most TSN officials are gutless cowards, beholden to sponsors - Plus wouldn't everyone prefer to hear Jockstrap & Schultize wax the onion???

Probably a good thing cuz the trash, liars, haters & vermin that run the bombers legendary feeble half-time shows (Champagne Jerry Maslovsky & Jeff 'Pure Hate' Banyon are used to working with garage sale microphones, untrained announcers, poor scripts, feeble organization and $40 half time budgets.

Worst part of paying tribute to fallen comrades is the bombers have gone 3-14 since Harris passed.

The designated talkers for the BOmbers are talking it up about what this game means for them and the Harris family and their intentions to make things right.

Just a thought? What about the last 14 losses? You'd think they wouldn't wait a year to pay tribute to Harris by winning a regular season match, would you?

I'll be missing tonight's game and going to a Coldplay concert. My guess is the game will reflect the band's name.

Both Harris & especially Murphy deserved to have their GC tribute shown on TSN. Didn't happen.

Didn't I tell you Al. The tonks from TSN don't have much respect for home team half-time shows even if its a tribute to one of the great coaches in CFL history.

TSN did show a few seconds of the Murphy tribute and show the scoreboard photo of Richard Harris cuz essentially you couldn't miss it.

But it was more important to let Milt & Schultzie babble on about this poorly played game, wasn't it?

That's one of the disadvantages of having a studio crew. For all the good things those guys do on camera, there are times when there needs to be flexibility when a CFL icon like Murphy is being honoured. The format of the broadcast means the halftime show has to be in the studio in Toronto... which is too bad.

The studio crew will have 1000s of hours to showcase their individual & collective wares over the next 10 or 15 years. Younger folks (8 to 16) who have no idea who Cal Murphy was should be granted the opportunity to view the high esteem the people of Winnipeg have for their departed coach/GM. Classic programming mistake by TSN - and they'll do it time and again!
