Actually agree with Slow Joe on these.

Elliott had the big arm, small brain. Brink has the big brain, small arm. WUNNERFUL!

Logan's days were numbered after Mack pried Couchy out of BC.

Couchy's dollar number is evidently really big (for his results) while Logan was a veteran who was getting nicked way too often.

Logan should be able to find work as a spare with a couple teams who are short depth in the 40th to 43rd players.

Elliott will float around for a while until a CFL team runs into major injury problems at QB.

Or he can find work doing his Lou Grant imitation. (Guy sounds like he's 88yrs old)

If the UFL is still around, I can see him playing there. Never was an Elliott fan. Not sad to see him go.

Joey just liked chuckin' footballs - didn't like game-planning, working out or team conferences.

He'll always be remembered to me as the guy who beat zurkowsky's prediction that the als were going to shut out the bombers with him as a starter.

    27-22 forever.

Zurkowsky should have STFU when he tweeted that. No sympathy from me.

And now, to complete the trifactor, Alex Brink is released.
Fortunately for Mr. Mack, the disabled building code will allow the necessary widths and incline in the new building he will certainly need to drag his nads around.
Bucks our starter. This is going to be tough to watch.

I actually love this. Look on the bright side, it virtually guarantees a new GM & HC next year.

Started one game as a rookie for the Cardinals

Highly touted qb from BYU. Strong skill set. No CFL experience which is a killer. Has been coaching qbs with BYU the past couple of years.

elliott & brink were nice guys (well, brink for sure) but bombers were scraping bottom of the QB barrel with these guys on roster! At least The Drowsyman is trying to upgrade, albeit with guys who've never played the CFL game!!!

I am curious how these 2 new guys do. But gawd, these people that are bitching about the loss of Joey Elliott, I don't understand. The guy was bad. I mean, just an awful qb. Won 2 CFL POTW awards followed up every week with the CFL OOTW award. (Outhouse Of The Week) award for playing like ****.

Elliott was arrogant. Thats one thing you can't be in the CFL. He also thought CFL defenses were mincemeat and that his big arm (about a 7 out of 10) would just rack up 4 TDs and 350 yds every outing. Guy had a bad brain.

Brink on the other hand, a dedicated hand, not a complete QB to be a winning starter in this league but a guy who reminds me most of Jason Maas, bit of a soft arm, though. He'd be a good #3 QB with any CFL team, one of the best short yardage pushes in the game and in a pinch he can be a short term #2 guy who has no problem coming in if a starter is injured temporarily. Won't rack up huge passing yards, doesn't really have much in the way of escapability but he's got something you can't teach - heart & height! I think he ends up either in Toronto or Montreal (as a cheap #3 guy) or sits out a year before being picked up as a FA by Ottawa to compete for #3 to #4 guy.

Cahoon fired? Another NCAA program I'd imagine or back up here.
