Barron Miles. Rumoured to be heading west to Edmonton to be part of Jason "The Kentucky Colonel" Maas's staff.

Miles served recently as a hobo-coach under Richie Hall.

Wonder how much Maas had to spike his salary to obtain his services.

As usual (according to the bomber management manual of excuses) they'll shrug it off and tell the world they'll get a guy who knows a guy!

I heard that manual has become mandatory reading in all Manitoban schools so as to prepare the next generation of lemmings.

The Drooper has built a nice reputation on a handful of above average passing games (some wins, mostly losses) plus he's got the standard excuse many recent bomber QBs have deployed (ie. continuous injuries). ie. Willy, Marve, Mutt Nichols, Buck Pierce, etc.
Peggers love his spunky attitude and willingness to play damaged.
Cardinal Kyle & Archbishop Wad looking for divine intervention. All they'll get though is their photo collection of Divine.

If an AC can get more loot elsewhere, as I suspect this is, good for him.
    Bombers issues aren't secondary coaching.
Now if Edmo needs a new GM or some bored members, come looting!

Unfortunately bombers followed up the loss of an assistant by signing a professional hobo named Macho Harris today. Harris was just getting lambasted in Sask'n last year, often beaten like a rented mule. Now he's a bomber?
Obviously, Kylie & Wad are still having massive problems finding good players in the southern pipeline so they have to revert to signing semi-experienced hobos.
Meanwhile at riderats.com - the natives are under the spell of their new emperor. No further references to Tennessee Corky are permitted. He's now Jonestown or Lord Saviour!

    Yep, he's the original "Will(y) Wonk(y)" ;)

An aging Gene Wilder will reprise the title role in the feature motion picture "Willy Wonky and the OLs, (or how I learned to stop worrying and love the Oompa Loompas)" currently in post-production.

In other news Howie Mandel slated to star as Plop Lapolice in the movie. Eric Lindros will take on pivotal role as Buck Pierce. JJ Watt being courted for the Doug Brown role. Mugsy Boes as Charles Roberts.

Actually Buck Pierce got promoted to QB coach yesterday. Guess the Buck 'n Plop show is back in town!

Got a feeling that 2016 will not be Winnipeg's season.

    Unfortunately you're probably right.
However, in Winnipeg, land of mass brain-washings (Jets, Bombers, provincial NDP government) even a 1-8 start doesn't leave them playoff-exempt - - - - the blue beliebers will be told to hang on as the mathematics continue to confront them!
    New bomber slogan for 2016
"Hangin' on to Hope - lack of alternatives!"

I respectfully need to tell you that you got a bad feeling.

The new Bumbers non import signings should allow the Big Blew to enjoy as many as three import O line. That should keep our Willy upright for the year. He goes down we actually have a #2 who has won numerous CFL games. Added an all-star running back who also allows us an import elsewhere, serious up-grade on D line and we lost four games last year that Medlock, our new hoofer, would have won.

We also have signed, albeit quietly, the ex Montreal game timekeeper who gives us a last minute(s) drive opportunity no other team has. This guy made 3 minutes at The Grey Can turn into 3:29!! We will always have time to get within range.

And, we've even replaced all the worn out concrete in front of the Rum Shack. Alright, alright, alright alright!!

If Kyle Walters had stood pat and not made the variety of moves he deployed yesterday - and extended into today the bombers were certainly in danger of having a hopeless season - 2-16 to 4-14 which would have defined the incredible progress Mike O'Shea has had over the franchise.
Walters came clean and admitted he didn't have enough good football players. Good first step in the 12=step program. Bill Smith would be proud!
Bringing in Paul Plop was a stroke of genius. Credit to Plop for making the move from near 100% security to being just a highly paid OC with only a year or two guarantee on the docket.

Trouble still looms with that leaky o-line and that can end up jeopardizing all progress made.
However, right now if Willy & Nichols remain upright my early prediction for bombers is 6-12 to 8-10. With a bit of luck and O'Shea finding a coaching style that works - they'll be 9-9.

Certainly better than BC - which I see plunging as low as 3-15 or 4-14. Perhaps in hard compete with Sask'n for 3rd in west.

I see Calgary restoring western justice (how you like that term Tundra M?) with a 12-6 record, Edmonton going 11-7 or 10-8 and then a battle of Corky's mooks vs. O'Stoic's mopes!

I know you don't want to jinx your team but I think you can safely change 26 to 27 in your signature as of right now.

    That's harsh, but realistically fair.
