    Scott Mitchell,

Dealing with change is something Adam Berger is used to.

The Calgary Stampeders rookie free safety waded through Simon Fraser University's move from the CIS to NCAA Div. II back in 2010, going from playing three-down football rules on a Canadian-sized field to American four-down rules on a smaller field.

This year, in addition to re-adjusting to northern rules in his first CFL training camp, the 6-foot, 202-pounder has been dealing with a position-change.

"Playing in all that space is the biggest thing for me," Berger said. "I played kind of like an outside linebacker or strong safety at SFU, so I was up close to the line, banging bodies, but playing free safety there's a lot more space and ground to cover, especially with the wider field."
