    GAME-DAY PREPPERS
    from Stampeders.com

Professional athletes are known to have some very quirky superstitions when it comes to winning games.

Some come up with elaborate routines they go through on game day, or a lucky item that they feel gives them a better chance to win.

Stampeders offensive coordinator — and former CFL all-star pivot — Dave Dickenson has seen a lot of different pre-game rituals over the years.

“Some guys like working out in the morning,” says Dickenson. “Then there are the guys that wear the same shirt underneath their pads. Usually, it’s yellow because of all the sweat collected on it.”

Preview: Stamps, Als battle on Friday Night Football
    CFL.ca

The Montreal Alouettes and Calgary Stampeders are set to square off on Friday Night Football, as two teams hungry for a win meet at Percival-Molson Stadium in Week 3 action.

For rookie head coach Dan Hawkins and the Alouettes, Friday night couldn’t come soon enough.

The team spent a good part of this week facing questions about a difficult loss in its home opener to the Blue Bombers a week ago, and will now get a chance to provide answers with a cross-divisional matchup against a Grey Cup contender.

Three storylines to watch against Alouettes
    Scott Mitchell, Calgarysun.com

Last week’s second-half collapse by the Calgary Stampeders in Regina wasn’t exactly how the organization envisioned building off a Week 1 win.

After the injury bug hit in the days following the physical road contest, there are a number of storylines worth watching as the Stamps get set to tangle with the Montreal Alouettes Friday at Percival Molson Stadium.

    Here’s what I’ll be watching:

Montreal's offense looks a little more like the 2011 version than the Week 2 version. AC with the TD drive already.

Too bad TSN or TSN2 isn't replaying the game tonight. So busy while I'm up in Canada that it's actually easier for me to watch games while in Tennessee!
