    July 18 highlights
Highlights from the House Party at McMahon Stadium on July 18 as the Stamps took on the Ticats.

I had a chance to be a bigger part of the game plan today. There were a few more passes thrown my way and I had an opportunity to contribute offensively in this game.
Mostly, it was just a lot of fun being a part of the game. We had a great team win.

Calgary’s defence had another strong performance on Friday as the Stampeders held off the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for a 10-7 victory at McMahon Stadium.
The Stamps have allowed a total of just 30 points — and just one touchdown — in three games so far in 2014 and are 3-0 to start a season for the first time since 2000.

Stampeders outlast Ticats in defensive battle
Defences continued to be the story of the week as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Calgary Stampeders could only manage 17 points, however the Stampeders were on the winning end, 10-7 at McMahon Stadium Friday night.
Heading into Week 4 of the CFL season the Ticats were looking at a daunting task of going into Calgary with a young quarterback making his first start of the season.

It wasn't a pretty win, but the Calgary Stampeders will take it.
Rene Parades kicked the game-winning field goal in the fourth quarter before the Calgary defence came up big to preserve the victory on Friday as the Stampeders hung on to edge the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 10-7.

Calgary Stampeders beat Hamilton Tiger-Cats by a whisker
It was far from a perfect picture.
In fact, for most of the night, it was a creation a pre-schooler would have been ashamed of.
But in the end, it resulted in a ‘W’.
The Calgary Stampeders defence stood tall Friday night in a 10-7 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at McMahon Stadium, but it was a special-teams play that decided the game.

Stampeders Quickhitters -- Brad Sinopoli shows sweet moves
Prior to the 2013 season, the Calgary Stampeders converted Brad Sinopoli from a quarterback into a receiver.
On Saturday night, he was a running back.
    Sort of.

Stamps survive late scare to beat Tabbies
The Calgary Stampeders all sang from the same choir sheet in advance of Friday’s clash with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Sure, the Tabbies touched down in Calgary minus their starting quarterback (Zach Collaros) star linebacker (Simoni Lawrence) and pretty much their entire starting offensive line. And sure, the Tiger-Cats hadn’t won in Calgary since July 4, 2004. And sure, the Stamps are widely considered favourites to win the Grey Cup.
Didn’t matter, said the guys in red. They respected the Ti-Cats and pledged to play as such. survive late scare beat Tabbies/10043703/story.html
