Edmonton Eskimos return to Calgary to face Stampeders in West Final

If the regular-season was any indication, the Calgary Stampeders had a pretty good idea of who they’d be seeing the West Final.
When they sat down Sunday afternoon to watch the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Edmonton Eskimos duke it out for the right to invade McMahon Stadium next weekend, it played out just as many had suspected, leaving the teams with the two best records in the Canadian Football League standing in the West Division.

Calgary Stampeders still trying to settle on receivers for West Final
Outsiders aren’t the only ones wondering who’ll be catching passes from Bo Levi Mitchell next weekend.
The insiders are trying to figure it out, too.
When the Calgary Stampeders get back to work Tuesday afternoon, receivers will be locked in a heated battle for jobs heading into Sunday’s West Division Final against the Edmonton Eskimos at McMahon Stadium (2:30 p.m., TSN, News Talk 770).

A healthy Reilly spells doom for Stampeders
Mike Reilly was just good enough to win Sunday in the West Division semifinal, but he'll have to be a lot better to clear the next hurdle.
With the Saskatchewan Roughriders playing a Three Stooges style game, the Edmonton Eskimos escaped with an 18-10 win at Commonwealth Stadium. The Eskimos were far from brilliant themselves and it was Reilly's dull, steady play that made the difference. While all the other quarterbacks trotted out by either side were spitting up on themselves, Reilly at least kept his bib clean.
