BC Lions look to kickstart run-game at Calgary Stampeders' expense
Andrew Harris, circa 2012, is nowhere to be found.
Last season, Harris piled up career-high numbers, running for 1,112 yards, in addition to hauling in 75 balls out of the backfield.
    But that was last year.
This season, the B.C. Lions’ 26-year-old non-import star has been playing anything but a starring role on the Left Coast, and it’s left the Leos a little unbalanced.

Calgary Stampeders' Chris Bauman loses season with torn ACL
A season of misfortune continues for Chris Bauman.
After breaking a bone in his wrist during training camp, the Calgary Stampeders slotback was inching closer to his season debut this week, following a four-month layoff.
But disaster struck Tuesday when the former first-overall pick in the 2007 CFL Draft got tangled up in practice and went down clutching his knee.

Stampeders Maurice Price, Joe West add depth to offence
When the Calgary Stampeders have their MoJoe working, it’s a downright dangerous offence.
Mo Price scaring defensive backs and burning teams deep on one side.
Joe West running crisp routes and going up to get the ball on the other.
    It’s a scary combination ... with a caveat.
The Stamps have had trouble getting both of their playmakers on the field at the same time.

Stamps remain wary of Lulay-less Lions ahead of Friday’s key divisional game
With a young quarterback at the controls and a running game that’s sputtering worse than the old clunker in the garage, the B.C. Lions seem to present a different sort of challenge for the Calgary Stampeders.
Different, maybe, but no less of one, according to Stamps’ defensive back Fred Bennett.
“When you lose your starting quarterback, you lose something as an offence, as a team,” he philosophized. “But just by looking at the film, their quarterback has come in and done a good job. They still have the same receiving corps, so they still have guys on the outside making plays. It’s just a matter of him getting to them.”

Stamps notes: Forzani tests ankle, Bauman’s ACL torn, Law’s quietly great year
A familiar face went through a few reps at Wednesday’s Calgary Stampeders’ practice, as Johnny Forzani tested out his wonky left ankle.
The 24-year-old receiver has been hors de combat all year long, after undergoing off-season surgery. So actually being on the field and doing more than watching his teammates was a bit of a big deal.
