    PATIENCE PAYING OFF FOR BISHOP

First it was Cordarro Law. Then it was Shawn Lemon. This season, it’s been Freddie Bishop III.
The veteran out of Western Michigan is the third player in three years to bookend the Stamps’ defensive line opposite all-star Charleston Hughes. He’s been patiently waiting to win the starting defensive end job since signing with the Stamps in July 2013.

Under the Twitter handle @CFL_news, a plethora of tales are told daily — well, "plethora" may be stretching it, considering the amount of coverage the Canadian Football League gets once hockey season begins.
But there are quite a few items that pass for news, anyway, and a popular meme early Tuesday was the re-emergence of the John Hufnagel-to-Regina rumour.
Not to rain on the fantasies of Saskatchewan friends and relatives, but … really?
