    The Montreal Alouettes' storied past will be feted but a reminder of their mortality awaits on the field when they face the first-place Calgary Stampeders.

    The Alouettes (3-8) host Calgary (10-1) in the Hall of Fame game Sunday afternoon at Percival Molson Stadium.

    Calgary Stampeders icon Jeff Garcia will miss protege Mitchell
    The master was looking forward to seeing his protégé.
    But Jeff Garcia won't get a chance to see Bo Levi Mitchell in person after the Calgary Stampeders quarterback injured his knee and ankle last weekend.
    Garcia, the Montreal Alouettes quarterbacks coach, tutored Mitchell during the off-season.

    Calgary Stampeders star Jon Cornish not gonna get an apology
    Kyries Hebert might be the most hated man in Calgary.
    And he seems comfortable wearing the black hat.
    The Montreal Alouettes linebacker put Stampeders star running back Jon Cornish on the sidelines for six games with a concussion.
    Hebert was ejected from the season-opener at McMahon Stadium for the forearm clothesline and was fined by the CFL.

    With Jon Cornish out of the line-up due to a suspected shoulder injury, the spotlight now falls squarely on Matt Walter and he’s definitely up for the challenge.
    “Guys are going to have to step up and happy to be one of them,” said the third-year running back. “I’m feeling great. Excited to play again. Hoping to build on what I started with when I had my previous two starts and hoping to increase my production. I’m really hoping to have that breakout game one of these days. Maybe this will be it.”
