    It's Labour Day!!!!

The 47th time that Edmonton has played in Calgary on Labour Day should be a dandy. Both teams are 2-2 in this situation (Calgary at home and Edmonton on the road).

The fancy difference is that instead of Burris vs Ray who have faced off the last 13 times that these two teams have played it's #2 vs #2 as Kerry Joseph gets the start for Edmonton against Kevin Glenn. Drew Tate at least has a real injury, the jury is still out on the Steven Jyles "strained calf" (for the record I believe that Jyles is hurt but that it didn't happen last game and it's not a strained calf).

Get there early for the fly over by a majestic two jets. What the hot air balloons weren't available?

    Wow, talk about a flashback.

Now there is a question that I've always wanted to ask, but needed to be reminded of.

Just what in the hell was the point of having that hot-air balloon next to the stadium during the game for all of those years? I remember going to the games with my old man years and years ago and seeing that thing there, and it was like they were just randomly raising and lowering it for no reason.

Was the hot-air balloon the "old version" of a CF/18 flyby? LOLOLOLOL

Go Stamps - 38-24 for the good guys.

The writing is on the wall for Boyd. Hopefully he didn't buy an igloo in the Chuck.

I'm not going to say it but Glenn, next time all guns will be out. We like to win the LD game here in Calgary. Brutal pass. Now go pull something out of something and wake up. Please warm up Bo. That was a brutal pass. No excuses for that.

How can a D get pumped knowing your QB will give the ball away like that. You better hope for a turnover here Glenn.

It is hard to stay positive knowing Glenn will be coming back out. There could be the turning point in the game.

Is OT just me or have the Stamps more or Kessler given up after that brutal pick?

Corndog must be auditioning for a WWE tryout. That was as good a flying elbow smash as you'll ever see. He would have legit knocked out Brock Lesnar or HHH with that one, fcs.....

If he comes out with a 2 and out here now Huff will need to be questioned about his QB, this next session is huge. 2 and out this game is over!!!!!!

I miss Garcia. Time to watch the Steelers. Our O has nowhere to go with Glenn. Out.

So far, a 'Classic' this ain't.

And an uninspired first half by the Stampeders.

But as your leader goes, so goes the team.

I don't see anyone willing to 'go through a wall' for Kevin Glenn.

    So no one will.

If the first half has said anything, it is that Kerry Joseph is a better quarterback than Kevin Glenn.

And I'm anything but a Joseph fan.

The future's lookin' bleak in Calgary.

And not just for the balance of this game. ;)

Unless the Stampeders have some significant half-time adjustments (on both sides of the ball), brace yerselves, Stamps fans, for a life and death struggle the rest of the way in 2012 with Saskatchewan for that third playoff spot in the West...

I should do a poll. How many first downs will Glenn produce since his brutal pick? He has 1 so far. I didn't like this guy in Ham and nothing has changed. He will come out with a few big plays late In the 4th to bring us back within 10 points. We now need our special teams to score our our D to score. He is done for the game. What are the odds Huff starts Bo Levi?
