attended team meeting yesterday but did not practice. still day-to-day. If he doesn't practice on friday then he's out for the next game.

I'm sure AC and GM Bobcat Goldthwait have about decided to target the Als final 6 games as AC's swan song.

btw - my Goltzfish's name is Pout

may as well see how long Marsh can go before getting a loss. then AC can return as a saviour of sorts.

still no practice for AC. He's been feeling up and down this week. Popp claims he could play even without practice. Riiiiiiiiiight Jim. Battle of the backups should be a go.

AC has been placed on the 9 game IR list.

Must b serious. 9 game is partly cap-work, partly injury.
I'd say its 75% pro-retirement. AC will certainly flesh out whethr Bobby Wets will give him an honorary spot as goodwill ambassador for around $200k or some form of payout.
AC will be uniformed for one of Als playoff games (if medically cleared) but won't start!

we'll see how the back-ups fare and how far Marsh can go. For AC to return he'd have to be 200% ok and the replacements would have to be struggling. It doesn't look like there will be a meaningless game down the road to allow him one last swan song.

well it's called football even though technically there's more carrying the ball than there is kicking.

didn't see him at practice today and Marsh is starting to be able to throw again. Brink wearing number 15. Pretty the revolving player's number this year.

I was wondering if he was going to find a clipboard, hat and a whistle in his locker stall.

I just don't know how he's going to throw the ball with his new helmet.

He actually wants to resume playing. Maybe reach 80,000 yards finally. Popp will be cautious nonetheless.

Nice piece by Herb on Anwar Stewart who has declared that this will be his Last season.

If AC clears up his head symptoms in the off-season what do you think the chances of him returning for 2014?
Prolly as Marsh or Josh's #2 guy, kinda a uniformed OC? I think its well over 20% but that still doesn't bode well.
btw - my old homey Alice Brink is now in Montreal. Great guy, great knowledge - just doesn't have much arm strength, not even AC at 40 or R Ray at 33 levels. Fairly accurate on tosses up to 20 yds, won't embarrass his team or his community. Good guy, tell him I said so. I will mean a lot - TO ME!

Tanner Marsh seems ready to return sooner than expected which might make him the number 2 behind Josh.

AC's return november 1st as starting QB will depend on 3 things.

    1. How Josh does his next 3 games. should he last that long

    2. AC is 200 % cleared to play. as in not only the docs but also the GM/HC.

    3. The final game has any meaning or not as AC is more likely to start if the als' final standing is set.

I'll flash Brink a sign at next week's practice. If he throws the ball in my direction I'll know what he thinks of you ;)
