instead of starting a new thread for every piece of cfl news this off-season we might as well post here as it comes. should be a very interesting one.

heard milanovich might be lured by his old alma mater the terrapins.

Great idea Deuv, it gets a little silly to have a new thread for every little bit of news.

Speaking of which, here is today's bombshell.

Milanovitch just can't stop his poaching from the Stampeders' coaching ranks, huh?

Or has Scotty now been beamed up somewhere else himself? ;)

I actually saw arash with travis lulay at the peg airport Monday.

chris going to regina has some smarts to it. came to a 4-14 team in Edmonton and now a 2-16 team in regina.

no pressure coming in. he probably knows that repeating with the esks will be mission impossible after seeing Calgary fall this year. I mean if huf couldn't pull it off that shows how tough it is.

Roughriders never made offer to Hufnagel
The Saskatchewan Roughriders say they never offered John Hufnagel a job and Calgary Stampeders president Ken King backs up the claim.

Rumours of the 'Riders offering Hufnagel $1 million per season and a dual role of general manager/head coach have been circulating around the CFL for several months. The rumour first came to my attention in the 'Riders pressbox on Labour Day.

When contacted that day, Stampeders president Ken King said, “Huff isn’t going anywhere and the 'Riders haven’t approached me.”

A few days later, Hufnagel took the steps to shoot the rumours down, saying he was under contract and not leaving the Stamps.

Pretty much makes the rumour-mongering Arash Madani look like a total asshat, now doesn't it? :)

Ricky Ray just re-upped with the Argos - evidently contract could pay up to $460,000 if bonuses attained. Insiders say they'll still try and keep Trevor Harris in tow!

Walleye has always secretly coveted Plop. However, in order to get him to bite on an assistant position he'll have to give him at least $250k, moving costs, housing. Also, a certification that he's the head coach in waiting once Wally, now 68 retires from the game in a decade or two.
Plopster leaves near Winnipeg. Bombers could offer him similar money without having to pump in moving costs (approx. $15,000) plus housing (at least $40k to $50k in Vancouver).
Plop would need Wadzilla to step up to a 3 yr guaranteed contract for minimum $250,000/yr. to jump from his estimated $160,000 gig at TSN which is basically guaranteed forever!
