If you really want to stir up the nornets nests in that country club of a locker room then start the Texas Two Stepper at QB and bench Nik Lewis. Guaranteed reaction for that game. Or sit down Cornish if the Tennessee Flash is healthy again.

Why would we sit down Lewis? He's probably been our best player. He made one bad decision on Saturday, that's it. There are other guys who should sit. Not so much for bad behaviour but for bad play.

You would never sit Lewis. EVER. Especially against the Riders. I wouldn't even sit Cornish because he is going to have a monster game.

Cornish would be the first guy I would sit this is not the first time nor the second time this guy lost his cool and got a penalty. This crybaby needs to sit an pout for a bit. For a guy that moved into a position he craved to get it seems he is taking this for granted. Jon you have great talent but sawdust between the ears. If you can not figure out by now that the players from other teams are counting on you losing your cool to throw you off your game then I stand pat on what I stated. You have talent now it is time to be a pro quit pouting and hurting your team because some idiot targeted you. They will continue to do it knowing that it affects your performance and of course you will do something to hurt your team. You can bet the refs know this as well and they are watching for you to retaliate.

Who do you play? Matt Walter? I think the step up from CIS to the CFL is huge... He looks slow compared to the defensive players he faces. He's not ready to play. LaMarcus Coker, sure but can he carry the load for an entire game. Truth is, Cornish gives us the best chance to win & he is the best player at the running back position. He has to play. Getting angry isn't enough reason to bench him. Now, if he isn't productive, that is a different story.

Would anyone turn down a trade to BC - where Calgary sends Cornish and Nikolai to BC for Harris, Arland Bruce and BC's first round draft pick?

Other than Wally Buono who'd tell his inside circle that Cornish isn't in the same league as Andrew Harris and Lewis probably will weigh 265 by the time he arrives in Vancouver.

BC would never make this trade. Harris is gold. Calgary would never get rid of Lewis right now anyways.

Not sure how that would help the Stamps. The running game and short passing game may marginally improve if any with Harris (lets not forget that as bad as things have looked Cornish is only two good games away from leading the league in rushing) but Bruce is near the end and we would be left with no possession receiver. The first pick would be the 8th and considering what the Stamps did with their 1st round pick this year it's pretty worthless.

As for the Lions they probably improve as Cornish in front of a good offensive line and a mobile QB could probably go back to himself and Lewis would be dynamite in that offense.

That would be a killer trade for the Stamps. We'd get killed.
