McGill beat Concordia yesterday for the first time since 2002 aside from a 6-0 win by forfeit in 2005.

Bishop's tried to keep it close but Montreal finally blew them away as predicted.

Laval @ Sherbrooke coming up. Once the game is out of reach I'll switch to Western-MacMaster

While I'm not thrilled about a 4500 seat stadium it's great to see the support there.

Sherbrooke with a good effort but if you can't beat Laval's defence don't bother showing up

Western is a force. Too bad we can't get inter-conference games that mean anything until the Bowl games. Western vs Laval during the season would be a classic.

Huskies hit a 40 yard FG to take a lead and then the time runs out on the Bisons before they can get a FG attempt off themselves. What a game! Huskies win by 2.

Then the UBC Thunderbirds come back to win in OT over the Alberta Golden Bears 39-36.

Wouldn't cost much in travel either. Have a home and home series between Western and Laval

Golden Bears games have no shortage of points

Caught the Bisons game. I've got to say, i'm a new fan of CIS!!
    Quick thoughts:
IG Field still hasn't figured it out. Got to the park 20 minutes before kick off, got in 15 after. When the ball was kicked off there were more fans in the ticket line up than in the building.
Sask fans in town for the Banjo were not impressed. With rush seating they could have sent staff out with handfulls of tickets, but, not @ IG. Crowd in line were cranky. 60 security, four ticket staff.
Sask kicker is very good. Didn't miss, positioned every kick, punts and placed.
Manitoba Coombs looked good last week, didn't handle adversity very well yesterday. A "sunshine soldier".
Bison QB showed less than previous game. He also showed some immaturity. Looks like he's been schooling Bombers Goltz. A touch of punk, didn't look good.
Sask o line is tough, lots of time and some serious run blocking.

Sask fed the Bison DB's ten and out's all day, Bison's never did tighten on it. Probably the possession breaker.
Bison's need to hire that Montreal timekeeper. Lost 3 seconds on a penalty (WTF??) and with 8 seconds left a 6 second play finished the game.
6,000 fans, but few freebies and the adult price has gone from $9.00 to $15.00. Bison admin must have spent some time with Bomber mgmnt this week. U of M probably moving Bison Football from liability to asset column.

Still, left the park smiling. Student crowd is fun, no p tanks, cheerleaders way better than Bombers, great half time live band, players sky high, Coach Dobie still looking for a career in Hollywood (Brian, its not about you).

Checked the league results, looks like it should be an interesting division.

    CIS, check it out!
