It seems the draft is becoming all about offensive & defensive linemen. Any skill positions are few & far between.

Exactly 4 weeks to the draft so it's time for another Top 10. A new #1 in Linden Gaydosh who had a fantastic CFL Combine and looks to be a top dog right now. Trouble for him going #1 is that Hamilton has a sudden flurry of non-import DLs (signed FA Brian Bulcke, 2012 Draft picks Gascon-Nadon and Atkinson probably heading to camp). For some their level of NFL interest has them slipping down the list as Stefan Charles and Ben D'Aguilar are heading to the NFL Super Regional Combine tomorrow (April 9th) and Boseko Lokombo is also going to draw some interest albeit an unknown amount next year. Matt Sewell slides down as well, he's a great fit for a team that can develop him and doesn't need him to play right away but the 2 guards are more likely to see quality time in their first year than he is.

Andy Mulumba and Brander Craighead move up into the Top 10. Brander is an ideal pick for the Ottawa "No Names" (RedBlacks) as he has ties to the area already. Mulumba might be the most consistant of the DLs over his time at Eastern Mich.

    1 Linden Gaydosh Calgary DT 6'4 320
2 Corey Watman Eastern Michigan OL 6'2 294
    3 Boseko Lokombo Oregon LB 6'3 224
    4 Brett Jones Regina OG 6'2 305
    5 Stefan Charles Regina DL 6'5 302
    6 Matt Sewell McMaster OT 6'6 340
    7 Benjamin D'Aguliar McMaster LB 6'3 235
    8 Brent Urban Virginia DT 6'7 280
    9 Brander Craighead UTEP OT 6'6 280
10 Andy Mulumba Eastern Michigan DE 6'3 260

So you don't think Watman hurt himself too bad getting blown up by Gaydosh. At least to read Chilly's version of those youtube clips. I didn't think it was that bad, especially since it's a drill with a defense slant (in a game the DL can't just roam everywhere like they can in a 1 on 1).

Good at least that the NFL draft goes first. Bet 4 of these guys sign deals or are actually drafted.

No I think Watman is ok. The one on ones are great to compare a player against another player using a similar opponent. Trouble is that the drills themselves are often slanted and they don't have enough time at the CFL Combine to run ones that slant towards the other side as well.

Corey Watman has more starts at Eastern Michigan than most of these CIS DLs have total games. The sheer amount of film out there on him will make up for a couple of bumps from Gaydosh.
