FRASER REMAINS WITH RED AND WHITE
Okay, so he better wear knee pads.
He finished the season stronger and stronger every game - if he can continue his great progression from last year, he'll be a key part to the D.
A very good signing that has the potential to be a great signing.
Twitter is an interesting thing. Watching a guy from Waterloo debate the value of a Calgary safety with the Edmonton radio broadcaster.
I was his biggest critic but he played very well especially in BC in the WDF. So, glad he's here. Hey kkpfrase, we know you're reading this. Any comments?
Some great quotes from Fraser in Ian Busby's latest.
Fraser signs; Franklin retires
shhhhhh...............don't wake the sleeping dragon.
Nah, want her to post here....
I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so. I knew all along that Eric wanted to stay in Calgary, but he asked me not to talk about it during contract negotiations so of course I respected his request.
I also had a dream a week ago that he signed with Calgary (the day before Larry Taylor signed), and I told him that I knew they would come to an agreement.
In response to the twitter feed that someone posted above, anyone who says Eric isn't smart enough to play Safety, doesn't know Eric, and really is horribly informed. If you ask any of Eric's coaches, including Chris Jones, they will tell you Eric is one of the smartest players they know, maybe sometimes that gets in his way?
Oh the knee pads agrument....I won't start up that one again. Mostly I was upset because I felt Eric was attacked, and I hadn't seen any other player attacked in that manner for not wearing certain equipment.
As far as what the future holds, I think we saw true Eric at the end of last season, and I think he's going to build on that this season. I know my brother, and he only gets better with experience, so I have high hopes for what he will accomplish this year.
Glad that your brother is staying in Calgary kkpfrase. I was sure he was BC bound so a nice surprise to see him resign. Eric definitly improved over the course of the season and you could tell he learned from his mistakes as well as his coaches. He played great in the playoffs. As for some people who "talk out of their asses" they have no idea what they are saying and can only say negaitive things about players.I guess it makes them feel better about themselves. I am sure Eric will make them eat their words and be a top safety in the CFL.
I was also wondering if you had a dream that Brian Bulcke resigned with Calgary
Well kkpfrase, you know I was just joking. As far as the knee pads go, if you look around, it's not just Eric. More & more players aren't wearing any padding below the waist. It's a dangerous practice & one that teams & the league may have to legislate to protect their investments.
This calls for a safety dance.
LOL! Nice video.
I don't think I've ever met Brian Bulcke in person, so I doubt I will have a dream about him. Said dreams usually only happen with people who are close to me...weird I know...I can't really explain it, and completely off topic.
Getting back to football. Nothing would make me happier then Eric making the haters eat their words, and Iso I get were your argument is coming from....all is good
I read somewhere where the NFL is considering legislation to make players wear the proper soft padding below the waist.
Glad to see all is well in the fraser clan. looking forward to 2013
might want to have a word with 'jigga' on the other site kkp....
Well I guess I'm set then because I already have plenty of soft padding below the waste...
And above too!
CFL here I come!
I think a lot of Eric's criticisms have more to do with the position than Eric. Safeties routinely bounce between hero and zero....
