    Five storylines to watch

    1. Is Drew Tate back to the Drew Tate of old?

Judging by practice, Drew Tate’s right forearm is fully healed and back to full strength from the break suffered in a 36-30 West semifinal victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders (still hard to believe he led the Stamps to victory with fractured throwing arm, but we digress . . .) Now, for Tate, it’s a matter of timing and a communication with receivers after nearly eight months away from game action. The bigger question of whether Tate can stay healthy for a full 18-game season is a bigger-picture issue. For the time being, the Stamps just want to show signs of Tate in control of the huddle keeping defensive backs honest with the long bomb. Expect to see No. 4 for about a quarter.
