Got an empty afternoon and evening to kill.

First up Giants score 4 in the first inning to go up 4-0. Most runs scored in the first inning since the 1912 World Series for the Giants into the post-season and this was after 2 outs.

Top of the ninth . Last chance for the birdies.

    Greg Holland pitching

    Adam Jones up

Pops up to second. One down

    Nelson Cruz

Flies to right. And a two

    Steve Pearce

    Strike one

Grounder to second. Throws to first

Game over. Royals one win from the World Series. Orioles will need a 2004 Red Sox miracle.
