In fact, Tim was drafted by the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League and attended their training camp. He was also a competitive kick-boxer and won a gold medal at the under-21 world championships in 2001 and a silver in 2002.

He played four years of university football at Saint Mary’s and was selected in the 2008 CFL Draft by the Edmonton Eskimos.

St. Pierre spent three seasons as a linebacker and long snapper for the Green and Gold and was named the team’s Special Teams Player of the Year nominee in 2010.

He joined the Stampeders before the 2011 season and was converted to a running back. He scored his first CFL touchdown on July 20, 2013 on a pass from Bo Levi Mitchell.
