Bet you're not as old as me or De Niro? Go ask Lord Lyle if he'll take you out to Nicks for lunch. Just don't tell him it was my idea or he'll have the entire premises swept for bugs & spooks!!!
Birthday Greetings, Al! I'm certain I'm still leading the way on that count around here, though...well, maybe Bronks has me edged out by a hair...or maybe not! Pssst, by the way Rids, how did you know it was Al's "time"? The board doesn't display birthday prompts like the "old site" did... TM
Don't tell me, you were behind Pam Anderson in a Starbucks and you got to 'Smell the Stink' for a few minutes......lucky luciano, indeed??? You're just lucky Kid Rot wasn't behind you!!!
I wish. It was more of a tragedy. I was given a syringe full of banamine which is a potent anti-inflammatory to give IV to a schnauzer who was getting operated to have cataracts removed. I was an intern at the UofMontreal Vet school June 27 1996. I was given a syringe of 8 ml at 50mg/ml and was supposed to calculate how much of it to give to make it 8 mg. It took me 10 years to get over that mental error. For whatever reason my brain registered that I was giving 1 mg/kg and gave the whole thing without thinking. The dog died instantaneously. I was not blamed for the incident but rather the pharmacy who kept giving those syringes in that manner. From that day on every medication had to be double signed so I guess some good came out my error. Still it was a traumatic experience that took me 10 years to recover from. Fortunately I had no other such incident during my internship year. The dog's name was : you guessed it. 'Lucky'. car flags for sale at the Bomber store. 'alWays your team' with the big W logo in the centre.
It does not. The old site had a "Today's Birthdays" section at the bottom of the main forum page which in turn "prompted" posters to issue greetings in the permanently stickied Birthday thread. Withheld or not, on our site you'd have to go through a member's personal profile to even see if their birthdate was disclosed. Which, in turn, is why I was interested in how Rids knew. An' that's what I'm talkin' 'bout, Willis! TM
Well, who knew? Happy Birthday to you, too, Adam! And before we leave June 27th entirely behind, who else who's signed up here was born on this date? Everybody? [Walking away while muttering "I'm Spartacus!...no, I'm Spartacus!...no, I'm..."] TM
June 27 2012 was the day McFly set to go to the future in the second Back to the Future movie from 1987. We'll we're here and still no hoverboards.
You can still get a DeLorean! They produce like 6 or 8 a year down in Texas. http://delorean.com/ I will eventually get one...see you at the tailgate.
True, but I'm pretty sure I saw Biff covered in manure the other day... On that note, happy belated birthday iso! I can't believe I missed this thread until now. Sorry. :s
