Thanks to the Box J Boys for some photos:
Here in winnipeg The demo contractor will just rinse the beer spills off the structure and it will settle gently to the ground.
Not sorry to see that dump destroyed once and for all and replaced by something that'll be way nicer in the future.
Yeah, I shed no tear for places like Ivor Wynne, Canad Inns & Frank Clair Stadiums. And Taylor Field in Regina. There just comes a time when they come to the end of their life. In the CFL's case, it was 20 or 30 years past the overdue date for all of them. Even the great memories don't make it worthwhile anymore.
There's a bunch of Big Box Stores who are lickin' their lips awaiting the opportunity to erect stores on the land the Bombers won at least 7 Grey Cups.
The Cats truly have been winnipeg's whipping boys. When Winnipeg moves back to the west they'll have a better shot at winning their next cup against Burris.
So, that means Asper's retail dream may have actually worked eventually. He just never should have used it to finance a stadium he couldn't afford.
Orlando Steinauer named the Cats new DC.
Demolition crews were thrown a curve Friday when an excavating machine toppled over at Ivor Wynne Stadium.
The incident happened just after 11 a.m., as the machine was tearing down a section of the southeast stands.

Same old story.
The selection of on-field "footware" appropriate to the conditions is always critical...
Couple of accidents at IG Field when it was under construction as well. Crap happens. Hopefully no one was injured at IWS.
