A terrific debut as a starter by Nick Arbuckle going 19 for 22 on the game, and superlative support for him in all facets of the game by Calgary's offensive line in both run and pass blocking, receivers who came back to the ball and ran smart routes, quick cut running of the ball by both Williams and Carey, and on defence, fine pursuit to the ball by the Stampeders' defensive front and linebackers, as well as 5 sacks and 3 picks (with 2 of 'em -ncluding a pick-6- by Tre Roberson).

Complete team effort and a convincing 37-10 victory by the Stampeders over the hated 'riders of the flatlands! ;)

    Nick of time indeed...:D

It will be interesting to watch. If Bo is out for the full 6 games, Arbuckle will get to test his metal against the REDBLACKS, the Tigercats, the Eskimos, and the Bombers as part of his stint, assuming he starts all the games while Bo is out. If he wins those four, and the beats the Argos (this should be a given, the Argos are so bad), do we trade him when Bo comes back? If he continues to perform this well, I doubt he re-signs with the Stamps to be Bo's back up, and it would suck to have him walk for nothing. On the other hand, might be better to have him walk, and keep a competent back up for the run to repeat, especially at home.

Well the guy had little help from the receivers tonight. Too many dropped balls. Too many turnovers at inopportune times in the game (3 fumbles). And holding penalties when there was a first down. No worries with Arbuckle at the helm. He was not reason the Stamps lost tonight.
Streak had to end eventually. Could someone tell Rod Black that we get the point about the win streak.
Turning point was the field goal attempt at the end of the 2nd quarter. Should have punted the ball and pinned them.
Defense played lights out in the first half. Second half ran out of gas.
Now very quick turn around and will have to play better to come Thursday.
No support from the offense. Special teams had a hot and cold night.
Overall as a fan of the game, best game of the week. Plenty of excitement.
For a team without their starting QB, a defensive work in progress, the offense has to play better if this team has a chance to win. Giving up two touchdowns on special teams didn't help either.
Nice catch at the end of the game though.
    Go Stamps Go!

Need a rushing/running attack in order to balance the offense. Against the Riders the run game was very effective in the balancing the offense. Tonight non-existent and the offense was a little bit flat and stagnant.
