Found this thanks to a google search on a kid today. Kinda interesting to see Duane Forde's info on the top players in the 2010 Draft. Some solid players in there that never got an honest chance.

    Interesting read, rids!

Plenty of names I don't remember and most of the guys are out of pro football, aren't they?

From my quick look-see I'd say Winnipeg still has the most guys on active service with 3

Chris Greaves - converted to OL from DT
    Justin Palardy - field-goal kicker/backup punter
Cor Watson - potential all-star receiver

Any team with more than 3?

I suspect BC might have 2 or 3 (Couchy Muambo, 1 or 2 others)

    Calgary has 5 there.

    Rob Maver
    Anthony Woodson
    Brian Bulcke
    John Bender
    J'Michael Deane

Interesting to see that the top 2 OTs on the list are in the NFL.

I think BC has 5 on there in:
Hamid Mahmoudi who is in a make or break training camp battle this year
    Cauchy Muamba
    Shawn Gore
    Akeem Foster
Tim Cronk another guy that needs to have a solid training camp

As of right now Calgary has 4
    Maver, Rob
    Bulcke, Brian
    Deane, J'Michael
    Bender, John

Woodson is a Bomber unless I missed a trade

You know I make that mistake even back to when they were playing on the same Dino squad. I mess up Anthony Woodson and Anthony Parker all the time. I did it several times in lead up to the 2012 CFL Draft. Similar enough I guess.

Shawn Gore is a nice receiver, but B.C. got an absolute steal with that Akeem Foster. He's got such deceptive speed with those long strides that it seemed like he was a danger to split a seam and take the ball to the house every time he touched it last season. Now they just need to start getting him more involved and they could have an all-star on their hands.

When you look at Foorde's rankings, the Stamps made out incredibly well actually. They managed to draft the top rated player at four different positions, guard, defensive tackle, cornerback, and kicker (John Bender, Brian Bulcke, Taurean Allen, and Rob Maver respectively). Actually they got the top two guards, adding J'Michael Dean as the cherry on top. The only down side is that all of these guys still have a lot to prove, but it's early yet. Besides, I think we came away with as good a haul as anyone that year.

Don't think there's any doubt Calgary got some primo value out of 2010....

All that has to happen is Bulky has to impose himself on the league.

Maver is already the best short to mid-range FG kicker in CFL.

    Others are just bonus boys.

Good battle to see who works out better at WR - Faster Foster or Winny Watson . . . . with Kito Poblah in the mix, too!

2010 was a good draft year. Maybe only a handful are in major roles right now but I counted 33 that are under contract right now and a couple more that could show up in July.

Tollestrup should be finishing up at BYU this year I think.

So, Tollestrup was eligible to be drafted TWO YEARS before he finished, what?

    3!!!

He enrolled at U of C straight out of high school which started his draft clock. Then after his Rookie of the Year award he went on his Morman mission for 2 years, then sat out a year to regain his football weight at BYU and then finally playing as a DB.

Here's his profile on the BYU site - http://byucougars.com/athlete/m-footbal ... tollestrup

Do you think he has the ability to be a safety in the CFL?

He's a very athletic kid for sure. I believe teams might even give him a shot as a receiver.
