Whether you're a fan of the Lions or not this is bad for the league. Lulay added to the thrill and excitement of CFL ball - an asset for true CFL fans. Having to watch mopes like Troy Smith, Al Brink, Alex Hall, Justin Goltz, Henry Burris, the kid who tried to sub for Collaros in Hamilton, etc. the league lacks plentiful of that rare natural resource in quality QBs. Imagine my despair if Willy went down in Wpg. Royally screwed = prolly wouldn't win one more game. .... might only win 1 or 2 more anyways with him but that's not the point.
Wally gets paid big money and they're truly lucky to have a quality average little mope in Kevin Glenn to back it up.\
Plus, Wally is known as a bit of an abuser so I wouldn't be surprised if they try to patch Lulay up one more time (I'm sure he doesn't want to quit football this early) and trot him out come game 17 or 18 (depends on whether Lulu can toss effectively more than 20 yds and how Glenn manages the next 3 to 5 games)

I agree no matter what team you want the best talent playing in the game.
