    Missing football for a whole weekend was worth it for one reason...

    We went on a road trip to add this little girl to the family.

    Now we'll just have to see if she'll watch the games on DVR with me. ;)

    Congrats - great looking pup. She's going to be a big girl with feet like that already.

    We just added a second dog to the family this past weekend as well, this time it was a brand new puppy which is a whole new world.

    I've been trying to convince the wife that since we're in the south we need one of these sleeping on the porch:

    We added a new member of our own family last December...

    Meet Tanner:

    [attachment=27]

    She's a 'rescue puppy' we had adopted when she was 3 months old through the Edmonton Humane Society (and who was picked up by them at the age of 3 weeks with a broken jaw that had to be medically wired).

    I call her my furry youngest daughter...:D

    We always said we'd get a rescue but a family friend down in Lethbridge was telling us about these dogs and my wife loves the two breeds (she's a German Shepherd Border Collie cross) so we obviously had to go check them out. In hind site I suppose I should have known it wasn't just going to be a look-see. ;)

    We have a Border Collie we adopted from the Calgary Humane Society 2 years ago. A now 9 yr old boy that we named Peyton. Very obedient & he is a sweetheart. Peyton was looking for a second chance & so glad we are the family that gave him one. BTW, he loves the Broncos!
