Mitchell appeals, will face Stampeders

I figured this would happen.
This should be more like the NHL. you get the ban you server it. none of this Apeal stuff.
Like I have said before the CFL can be such a bush league at times. To be able to appeal a suspension is a joke. This has happened before & as a fan, guys like Jiminez & Mitchell know that they will never serve a suspension. Hervey's suspension for swinging a helmet... overturned... Jiminez suspension for taking out Gargulio overturned & now Mitchell. The CFl is the only league to do this. Why, God knows...
Typical bush league CFL.
has any player actually served a suspension before in the past 20 years?
Seems like everyone has gotten off because of the process.
I don't recall any suspension being served by any player in the CFL.
The Commissioner and the league's Discipline Committee have the power to levy sanctions, but no authority to enforce any discipline imposed beyond monetary ones.
It is an inherently flawed process which will have to be addressed in the next CBA...
Wally is so 2 faced. he said today that he doesn't condone bad behaviour. But he has employed two of the biggest hatchet men on his team... Jason Jiminez & now Khaliff Mitchell. Both players deliberately injured other guys... Just keep yapping Wally as we know it means nothing.
