7-1 Giants. This one could be over fast.

San Fran can wrap it up on Tuesday. Amazing pitching performance last night from the Mad Bum!

I'm off to NYC to have my pic taken with Mariano Rivera wearing a 2009 grey cup pin. It was played on his birthday like the 2015 one will be. We should invite him to Winnipeg.

Sad news hearing that Cardinals top prospect Oscar Tavares passed away following a car accident in the Dominican Republic Sunday night.

Should've done just a World Series thread since not many of us seem interested in it.

Mariano totally called it today. He still believes KC will take it in 7.

My pic came out good. Got my Vanier ticket in it which is also played on Mo's b-day this year.

The previous lopsided shut out in Game 6 of a World Series led to the losing team taking Game 7.

    1960:
    Game 6 - Yankees 12 Pirates 0
Game 7 - Pirates 10 Yankees 9 with a walk off home run in the bottom of the 9th.

That was some kind of a wacky finish to a WS.

Been 3 years since it's gone to the wire

    2-2 after two

Hudson gone after 1 and 2/3 innings. This is a World Series game 7 all right.

Ned Yost lost game 7 in 82 as a Brewer player and in 91 as a Braves coach

Hosmer called safe on a double play attempt. After review he is out. Would have saved Denkinger all those death threats back in 85.

And now Guthrie is out after 3.1 innings pitched. We might actually see Bumgarner at some point.

    Giants up 3-2 after 4.

First time in WS history that neither starter lasted more than 3.1 innings

And Bumgarner warms up in the bullpen in the 5th. Coming in.

Mariano was actually asked the question about whether he could be used on two days rest and he answered 'in a 7th game you can'

You mentioned 1960 rids. Hudson's 1.2 innings outing was the shortest in a game 7 WS since then
