11-8 Montreal at the start of the 4th quarter. Don't think McPherson is making much of an impression.

    Punt Montreal from their 32

BIG return from Johnson to the Montreal 9.

challenge flag thrown out. ruling stands. als' timeout forfeited.

Goltz in. Volny to the 6

woops. Bowman missed the sack. Goltz runs it in for the TD.

    WINNIPEG 15 MONTREAL 11

Tim Burke finishes as an undefeated non-interim coach. Goltz probably showed a bit more than Alex Brink (who starred on The Fugitive as the 1-armed Man)

Winnipeg really needs some fresh coaches as Garber looks chipped. Need a QB coach as well.

Wonder how secure Kavis Reed feels now that his protector, Sheamus O'Tilman is gone!

Dunigan said Pierce gave Justin Goltz the Good Housekeeping Award Of Approval. Don't know if that means much coming from a guy whose career now is pretty much play to play... Was it me or was Matt flying at 30,000 feet all game? He was jacked, wow!!

With the last game in the East today between the Bombers and Allouettes, I really thought at the beginning of the season the Eastern division would be a stronger competitive division. However once again the three other teams in the division played catch-up with the Alouettes. Too bad the Bombers couldn't play the Alouettes more often, because it seems the Bombers play their best games against the Alouettes.

Then Milt Stegall comes on & Gord Miller asks him questions about how he feels about Burke & Mack coming back, which team will come out of the West, what he thinks of Adrian McPherson as a starting qb & what the Bombers have to do with Buck Pierce. He would start to give some interesting answers & they'd interrupt him all the time. Miller never let him finish what he was going to say. Just ask him another question. All of his answers sounded like they'd be controversial but the director must have sent a message in Gord Miller's ear to cut him off before he said something the Powers That Be wouldn't like...

It was funny. Miller just isn't used to having lightning in a bottle in the booth. He was too concerned with the deadball game on the field. Milt did emit one gem - he predicted a Stampeder Cup, if the Stamps can figure out who their #1 QB is. To me, its obviously Mr. Tate w/ Gnomer Glenn in reserve.
