Looks like we got Nashville-Chicago in the first round. A six or seven gamer for sure.
Should be a doozy although the Preds have been giving up 2 goal leads nearly every game for the last month. OT Loser points don't get you anywhere in the real season...
Looked like the Preds had it in the bag and then OT happened.
Habs win a wild one
Isles lookin good in DC
boy you called that one. double OT loss after a three goal lead.
Preds respond with a vengeance.
Habs up 2-0. Caps claw back in their series.
That was a big time win from the Preds. Could've folded tents after the Patrick Kane goal.
And they drop back again in Chicago.
Triple OT loss. What a tough series.
The rids rally is on. Back to Chicago.
The Preds have clicked for two games of the series, held their own for two games and overall scored 18 goals in 5 games. That should put them in the drivers seat but instead they are scrambling to tie up the series in Chicago.
If they can force a game 7 I think they win it at home. The Preds crowd is great.
Rids rally towels sponsored by the Airdrie chamber of commerce to be handed out.
Heard a lot of Preds comments when I was out this morning. Hockey fans are pumped and a little nervous for the game tonight.
3-3 so far in the Windy City.
Oh well. Jim Fanning and Walter Koenig's birth city prevails. End of this thread.
And the dream died. Not a good year for second place finishers in the division.
Blues also gone. First place team didn't fare much better.
An old-fashioned Norris division rivalry between Minnesota-Chicago.
Yes Minnesota living on the strength of Dubnyk.
Caps avoid another 7th game at home choke.
Might surprise the blue shirts
I guess this thread can become the Barry Trotz watch. See if the long time Preds coach can finally take Ovie to the promised land.
OT 1-1. This thread's survival is on the line.
