There will be a new option on Stamps game days, and that'll be an all new outdoor patio in the north end zone. (in front of the Red & White Club)

According to Scott Mitchell, the new Patio will seat 200 with tickets around $80 which will include some food and drink.

I'm guessing this replaces the car display they used to always have.

Ahh, so new info from Scott is that this is a group area and no individual seats will be for sale.

And what happens to the fireworks we always see after a Stamps' TD? Bad enough we have not had fireworks on the Canada Day game for several years now but to get rid of the scoring celebration ones too? Sacrilege! And I hope they have lots of security, especially on Labour Day - we haven't had a streaker in a while!

Or, to make sitting on the new patio even more exciting, it could be russian roulette - no one knows which seat has the fireworks under it!

    Official info now available.

Located in the north end-zone, the TELUS #AllHeartStamps Patio provides a private field-level view of the game and can accommodate up to 200 people. The patio is exclusively available for group or company events. The cost is $80 per person — which includes game admission and food (beverages available at an additional cost) — with a minimum group reservation of 50.

“Both the Stampeders and TELUS have a long and proud history in Calgary and we’re very excited about this partnership,” said Stampeders president Gordon Norrie. “Our fans have been asking for a game experience such as this for quite some time now and we’re happy to be able to deliver the TELUS #AllHeartStamps Patio to them. This is a truly one-of-a-kind experience and a great way to watch a game with a group.”

This season, TELUS will be encouraging Stampeders fans to show their support for the team on social media using the #AllHeartStamps hashtag. Participating fans will have the chance to be rewarded with prizes and exclusive Stampeders experiences, courtesy of TELUS.

“At TELUS, we’re huge fans of Canadian football and are extremely proud to welcome the Stampeders into the roster of teams we support,” said Andrea Goertz, Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer at TELUS. “Our new relationship with the Stampeders and the TELUS #AllHeartStamps Patio expands our support of CFL teams and is another example of how we’re creating exciting new experiences for Canadian football fans.”

The TELUS #AllHeartStamps Patio will make its debut on Friday during the Stamps’ pre-season contest against the BC Lions and is sold out for that game.

McMahon just flat out looks old doesn't it.

I still think they should've done the patio idea at the south end and actually extended the R&W Club on the North end to draw that closer to the field. Like going to a Flames game and having the club seating they could've put 1,000 plush seats out in boxes in the front and had the buffet meal in the club like they currently do.

I miss when the North end was just a plain old grassy knoll. (sigh)
