    Ready Sochi???? http://www.sochi2014.com/en

First event is the Men's Slopestyle which is apparently on an extremely dangerous course so could be more of a NASCAR watch for the crashes type of event. Then the Ladies Slopestyle followed by Ladies Moguls Qualifying.

Then it's into the rink for something called Team Men Short Program and Team Pairs Short Program. These 22nd Winter Olympics are a fair bit different from the 15th Winter Olympiad that was held in Calgary.

Caroline Ouellette's folks are leaving tonight for a 3 week stay. Cost is a mere 25 grand but hey the memories are priceless right?

Should be her final games and she goes out as team captain. The US are due nonetheless.

4 Canadian women qualified in the Ladies Moguls.

2 Canadian men qualified for the Finals of the Slopestyle while the other 2 are headed to the Semi-Final (weird set up).
1 Canadian qualified for the Finals of the Ladies Slopestyle while the other 1 is headed to the Semi-Final.

Patrick Chan is 3rd after the short program in figure skating while Duhamel and Radford are 2nd after the short program in pairs skating.

Of course nothing has been broadcast yet here but maybe you Canucks have seen something already.

So the Canadian snowboards took shots at Shawn White for pulling out of the Slopestyle event? Classy guys!
