Bomber coach Paul LaPolice (aka Porky Plop, Plop fer short) was really lacing up the blame boots after last nights loss to the Als.

    1. Blamed veteran Brady Browne for a bad penalty. Plop said he'll have to start fining guys.

    2. Blamed poor production in the red zone. Poor coaching? Bad execution?

    3. Blamed luck! Yeah, right!

Plop is starting to look like a man who has lunched poorly and has no better prospects for dinner (cred. Henry Longhurst)

Not quite at Don Matthews despair levels yet. (like he's chewing on a wasp)

But the mini-heat is on in Wpg. This level of play (other than the semi-final win last year vs. Hammy) is unacceptable and its stretching over way too much time.....

Plop is safe for now. The bombers have too many other problems than to make an executive decision about a coach. So Plop trudges on, trying to find a way. They/ve already sold 24,800 for their home opener in 3 weeks - I suspect they won't quite get to 29,000 but still, the lemming effect is in full effects.

If the Bombers go 0-5 to 1-8 I suspect Buchko and his knife n forkers will meet to make an executive decision. Not til then!!!

They're in Edmonton next week then Toronto before this road ordeal is over. They might just muster a win or two. We Were lucky in certain aspects. If the als don't score that first TD after 5 tries from the one yard line you had a different game.

It was typical plop football. Spot the other team 14 points then come back. Then spot them 10 more then come back. Even at 41 points, they Still came back.
