Take a moment to predict the winners in all 8 pre-season games.

This will be a confidence pool just to mix it up a little. So after you pick a winner you bid from 1 to 8 points on it. If you predict the right winner you get those points, otherwise you lose them. A total of 55 points if you get all 8 games correct!

Get your picks in before Wednesday! Winner gets a copy of the Ridley Scouting 2012 Draft Guide.

    Here's the schedule:

    Pre-Season A
Wed Jun 13 Toronto vs Hamilton
Wed Jun 13 Saskatchewan vs BC
Thu Jun 14 Winnipeg vs Montreal
Fri Jun 15 Edmonton vs Calgary

    Pre-Season B
Tue Jun 19 Montreal vs Toronto
Wed Jun 20 Hamilton vs Winnipeg
Thu Jun 21 BC vs Edmonton
Fri Jun 22 Calgary vs Saskatchewan
    [hr]
    My picks:

    Pre-Season A
Wed Jun 13 Toronto vs Hamilton - Hamilton wins 8 points
Wed Jun 13 Saskatchewan vs BC - BC wins 1 point
Thu Jun 14 Winnipeg vs Montreal - Winnipeg wins 2 points
Fri Jun 15 Edmonton vs Calgary - Edmonton wins 3 points

    Pre-Season B
Tue Jun 19 Montreal vs Toronto - Montreal wins 4 points
Wed Jun 20 Hamilton vs Winnipeg - Winnipeg wins 6 points
Thu Jun 21 BC vs Edmonton - Edmonton wins 7 points
Fri Jun 22 Calgary vs Saskatchewan - Calgary wins 5 points

Hey Rids, as a mod here & in the event of a tie, I'll forego the prize & let it go to the other tieholder.

    First Week:

Toronto vs Hamilton: Ricky Ray & Hank's debut. Hometown team with the new qb & slot puts on a show for the fans... The Ti Cats had a bad week losing their star running back & finding out they are homeless next week. Want to have much better week, this week...
    Hamilton 27, Toronto 9

Saskatchewan vs BC: BC anxious to show fans they are for real. Too many holes in the Riders D... And no Andy...

    BC 24, Saskatchewan 17

Winnipeg vs Montreal: Winnipeg is still a strong football team even though they sat on their collective ass as a team & did nothing to really strengthen themselves. Montreal with AC a team on the way down & not as scary like they used to be. Als lost a bunch of coaches including their OC Scott Milanovich so a new system takes time to get used to, especially at the qb position. Kerry Watkins retired.

    Winnipeg 17, Montreal 10

Calgary vs Edmonton: At least Calgary has a starting qb. Don't know what they got in Edmonton but it ain't good. Long season a comin' for the Esks thanks to Sonic.

    Calgary 28, Edmonton 16

    Second Week:

Toronto vs Als: Ricky Ray debuts & puts on a show. The Als woes continues. AC wishes he had retired a year earlier.

    Argos 31, Als 17

    Hamilton vs Winnipeg:
Buck, Brink & Elliot struggle because the OL for Winnipeg hasn't jelled as the Ti Cats go 2-0 in the pre season. Optimism reigns in the Steel City. Why didn't the Bombers sign any free agents, again, fans ask??? Still no stadium in 2013 for Hamilton, bummer.

    Hamilton 25, Winnipeg 21

BC vs Edmonton: QB woes continue for the Esks. Panic starts to set in when fans realize Kerry Joseph will start the season. Gee thanks Sonic, Esks fans say.. BC looks like a Grey Cup repeat...

    BC 41, Edmonton 16.

Calgary vs saskatchewan: Remember back in the day when Mosaic Stadium used to be an intimidating place for the Stamps to play? Well, no more Hank as a distraction for the team when the Stamps play there now & actually now it's kind've a nice place. Darian Durant picks up where he left off last season.

    Calgary 27, Saskatchewan 14.

Just going to bump this. Get your picks in before the games tonight for a chance to win.

And to Bronko and iso put in your confidence points to your picks. Rank them 1 to 8 on how sure you are of your prediction.

I already have a copy of the guide but will enter anyhow.

Winners in bold and using the old home teams want to win the meaningless games theory.

    Pre-Season A
Wed Jun 13 Toronto vs Hamilton - 8 points
Wed Jun 13 Saskatchewan vs BC - 7 points
Thu Jun 14 Winnipeg vs Montreal - 3 points
Fri Jun 15 Edmonton vs Calgary - 1 point

    Pre-Season B
Tue Jun 19 Montreal vs Toronto - 2 points
Wed Jun 20 Hamilton vs Winnipeg - 6 points
Thu Jun 21 BC vs Edmonton - 5 points
Fri Jun 22 Calgary vs Saskatchewan - 4 points

Ok we'll drop the confidence points since only 2 of us put them in and go straight up wins-losses. After one night.

    iso 1-1
    Bronko 1-1
    Flash 1-1
    Rids 1-1

If you want in just post the next 6 games and you'll be behind the eight ball but not out of the running.

Thought Hamilton would show better defensively tonight. Not surprised about Sasky. They looked terrible tonight.

I suspect Brendan Taman was fumbling around his desk last night, making sure his "envelope" was still there. The Sa-sacks indeed looked horrid last nite - as if they broke training camp about 4 minutes before the game started - 'bout the same time Rod Black arrived at the game to do his game prep!
