The brash canadian superstar vs. the tough as nails american back.

    Tonite

    Cornish - 14 rushes for 108 yds (longest 33)
    3 rec for 39 yds

    Simpson - 12 rushes for 66 yds (longest 9)
    1 rec for 4 yds

Cornish seems to get stronger as the game continues; Simpson, due to a nagging foot injury tends to disappear and get increasingly less reps.

Cornish wins tonite's matchup but it won't be a blowout as Burke's boo-boo's will be focussing on ztella.

Wpg. simply doesn't have enough earth-movers to create much for Simpson.

I hope Corndog breaks the 1000 mark tonight.

He currently sits at 827 for the year.

As fanciful and outrageous as that wish would usually sound, that feat would only require the second best outing of his season to achieve that landmark tonight. ;)

He'd just miss it if he matched the 170 he ploughed for against Hamilton, and he'd certainly shatter it if he only equalled what he did in Commonwealth one week ago.

Bronks is probably correct in believing the Burkester Bombers will key on him, and that may blunt his success, or just maybe it won't...;)

And even if it does, I expect that'll leave open the likes of Nik Lewis to climb the heights of the all-time receiving records and pass the 10000 career mark this evening....:D

I'm looking forward to this one more than I have for any all season, boys...;)

Don't let us down out there tonight, Big Red!

It was also reported on Wpg radio this a.m. that BB linebacker Marcellus Bowman has referred to Nik Lewis as 'Chubby'.

Listen, its gotten so bad in Wpg. the stamps don't even need locker room material - and if Lewis makes Marcellus whiff once or twice tonite - he can change his legal name to Marcellus Blowman..... we'll get Terry to do the documents!

In reality, Marcellus is probably our 2nd best defensive player.

Our best is still Jovon Johnson (which tells u why the bombers are 2-9)

    After Bowman,

    DE Jason Vegas
    DB Alexis 'Tattoo' Suber
    MLB Henoc Mumboa
    DB Jonathan 'Overrated' Hefney
    DB Brandon Stewart
    S Iain Logan

The Field Mouse, Kevin Glenn is a perfect candidate for a MOUSTRAP GAME!
