WOW! Here's a quick look at the recruiting budget for some NCAA schools:

It's an eye opener to the big business end of college sports. Bigger budgets just for recruiting than most CIS football teams have including travel.

The CIS doesn't have the exposure the NCAA has with tv, the large stadiums, the sponsorships as well as the alumni pumping in money. I figured the recruiting might be higher.

Big bonus for a young Canadian QB. Michael O'Conner is part of the grad Class of 2015 and he picked up 4 NCAA Div 1 offers this week. Wow! Mississippi State, Toledo, Michigan State and Buffalo all want this QB from Ottawa.

So far 3 in the Class of 2013 have NCAA offers. The contact rules are changing for the younger years so there are Canadians in the Class of 2013, 2014 and 2015 currently with Div 1 offers.

3 offensive linemen with 5 offers between them. We'll see what comes out of things as we round out June (I'm guessing a handful more get offers).
