Late game GDT submission, for sure; but the freakin' Bombers are ANNHIALATING the 'Riders at home.

    8:00 left in the 4th - 24 - 13 Winnipeg.

Go Bombers! Beat the 'Riders and finally get a home win.

It'd be great if they can hold on! :)

Twelve point lead with the 'riders 3rd and 10 on their 40 at the 3:00 minute warning!

    Hang on Blue! :D

    Incomplete desperation pass by Durant!

    Turnover on downs!

Goltz on the 40 on 2nd down scrambles for 2 and comes up injured.

    Punt.

Saskatchewan ball on their own 51.

Incomplete to Getzlaff...then sacked for 9 yard loss!

But UR and 15 yards on Wpg! First down!

Now 12 yard sack on Durant!

8 yds to Sheets and 3rd down gamble: Incomplete!

Turnover, but Goltz fumbles with Sask recovering in Bomber end with 40 seconds to go!

Durant sacked for 8th time in game, and final pass to Dressler at 3rd and 33 sees Dressler (inexplicably) run out of bounds with 24 seconds left but 20 yards short of first down territory! :D

The madness over the last 3 minutes finally ends!

    Bombers win! :)

And, more importantly, 'riders lose! :D

Blue D was just too tough!
Sask looked like they just assumed a big second half.
Wow are Sask fans bad losers.....

Congratulations to all of the long-suffering Bombers fans on this board! ;)

Enjoy, despite the insufferable 'riders fans who abound...

My only explanation for this is that Weston thought the penalty made it 2nd down repeated instead of the penalty being tacked on after the play. If he was thinking that it was 2nd and 33 then getting out of bounds to save the clock was a good idea....with it being 3rd and 33 well it didn't do anything for the Riders at all. Late game brain cramp.

And to cap it off, Buck Pierce to BC for Akeem Foster as the game ends.
    The Bombers are back!!

    Yup.

Classic case of lack of "situational awareness"...

Have Winnipeggers flipped over any cars on Portage yet? Tomorrow will be declared a holiday right?

Bomber Board taken off suicide watch, Wad Miller on line ordering another ill fitting blue suite, Earls girls all putting wedding rings on, Earls management running all Bomber credit cards thru to confirm available balance, Evander Kane and Justin Goltz in Palomino Club trying to out knob each other, Buck Pierce asking players "where's B. C.?", Brad Wall having boot remover shipped to Sask Leg for am, imagine if they win two in a row......

With their ferocious pass rush (which is once again ahead of the Stampeders) taking on the porous offensive line of the Eskimos (who just gave up 14 sacks in the LD home-and-home with Calgary), a second consecutive win is not at all out of the question for the Bombers...;)

Wow I got a sweep on the picks! That was a great weekend of football. I had a hunch the bomber defense in the banjo bowl would shine and that they did! It was an enjoyable game to watch out here in Radium Hot Springs with a few of my rider friends! I had the hankies ready for them and I listened for an hour later to the rider excuse machine in full progress. They were crapping on their receivers for not getting open. I told them that the best pays was where Durant was on his backside he should have had a pillow. Watch the Hammy game and I have too tell you it took hours after the game to re adjust my eyes to those good awful uniforms. But all my picks came out next week is going to be a tough one. Calgary vs Hamilton with Burris playing I expect many turn overs he is the king! As a person Hank is a great guy but as a QB he frustrates the hell out of the fans. Hammy fans are finding it out! Edmonton is an easy one anybody but Edmonton they will not win with that oline or coaching staff. So the Peg will have two win in a row. Reilly can not win games with what is happening in Edmonton. The Riders will not lose two in a row can they? I can assure you many teams are going to see how the Bombers did and it might be a tough go for the riders from now on! But they have good coaching and they will correct the mistakes. TO needs to find away to win with out Ricky Ray they are a different team.

Thanks deuvl I gambled on the two games and it paid off had it not I would have lost ground. Next week is going to be tough one! The rider game is tough my heart says bet on the riders but the gambler says go the opposite way on this one. The Argos have not looked good and missing key players but the Riders looked like Edmonton playing the Bombers. Tough one I will need to think on this gamble.

I understand but I'd be truly surprised to see the riders crap the bed at home although they nearly did against Mtl.
