So, let me get this straight...you're allowed to hold any personal opinions you choose, and to post them online for everyone to see, but Cornish can't use social media to do the same...? :wideyed:

The difference is that I'm not a "celebrity" with a soapbox (other than this forum, basically).

Anyone can have any opinion they want. Cornish can say whatever he wants, and I'm to "judge" him as I see fit.

When you publicly say things that are controversial, it's "open to interpretation" and/or criticism, regardless of who you are.

    So what?

In the age of "social media", anyone can become a "celebrity"...at least within the context of an issue which grabs public attention.

Nothing prevents you from getting on your own soapbox and telling the world what you think.

You've certainly managed to do it here, and on that other site.

    And perhaps elsewhere.

You're welcome to re-tweet Cornish's views and tell the Twitter world what you think, and why you believe Cornish is wrong.

But just because you don't agree with Cornish doesn't mean he should stop posting his own views...and just "stick to running the ball..."

If you have the freedom to speak your mind, you can hardly grant him less.
