I like the AFL. I'd support it if it came to Calgary. Never will go to a Roughnecks game. Just not into lacrosse. My impression of lacrosse is it isn't really profressional. More like a really good, senior men's league.

Little bit of a delay and the audio quit working for me. Hoping that gets cleared up.

    TD Spokane!

Ok they got the score working. Still no sound but it's 14-0 Spokane right now.

Spokane's pass rush is strong. Grieb had some time but no receivers before the pocket collapsed.

    Boom just like that.

Grieb to Williams for a Sabrecat TD. 14-7 with 3:50 to go in the 1Q.

Love the speed of the Arena game.

    Too easy! Too easy!!!

Harper burns the corner and Rowley lays it in there for a TD. Shock up 21-7. 84 seconds to go in the 1Q.

Rowley would be fun to watch in the CFL.

San Jose with the rushing TD. The fullback bounces, bumbles, stumbles and finds the paydirt.

    21-14 Shock.

    Rowley to Harper again.

    28-14 for the Spokane boys.

Just for some background, Spokane is 7-6 on the year while San Jose is 9-5. Both playing in the same division and looking up to division leaders Arizona.

Spokane holds San Jose to a turnover on downs and marches down field to score.

    Rowley to Tennell for 6.

35-14 Shock. 5 minutes to go in 2Q.

Video review and it's called a fumble. Shock recover. On a roll tonight!

All time series between these two teams is 2-1 in favor of San Jose.

Rowley to Harper yet again. 42-14 Shock with just over a minute to go in the half.

After a Sabrecat INT it's all Spokane.

    Rowley strikes again!

Rowley to Steven Black to make it 49-14 and there's still 42 seconds to go in the 2Q.

There's some history! Mark Grieb just tossed his 900th career touchdown pass.

San Jose still has a lot of ground to make up.

We've reached halftime and it's Spokane 49 San Jose 20.

    From the Spokane facebook page:

They are not playing games here tonight. Shock really want that playoff spot and need the win.

San Jose fires back in a hurry. Grieb with TD pass #901 to Goodson. They get the 2 point conversion and it's 56-28 now for Spokane.

Getting distracted here and it's Arena Football so the scores are coming fast.

I've been working on a project taking on what an indoor football league would need to succeed in Canada. I believe I have a solution for a real developmental league that would be the best way to train up our CIS kids into true pros. It'd be like expanding the PR from 7 to 25 players.

Beau Bell makes a big play. He bounced up to the CFL for a bit before finding his way back to Spokane.

Beau Bell adds a forced fumble to his list of plays tonight.

Video review shows that it was a touchback after the fumble as Moore pounced on the ball in the endzone. Shock ball on the 5.

San Jose wants to get back into this.

Grieb to Wright for a nice TD after the video review declared San Jose had recovered the fumble.

69-44 Shock with 10 and a half minutes to play in the game.

Seconds later Rowley finds Harper all alone.

    SPO 76 - SJ 44

Rowley I believe is a TD pass away from setting an Arena Football League record for TD passes in a single game.

    More history tonight!

Kyle Rowley sets a new AFL record for TD passes in a game!
