The Calgary Stampeders have added 10 players to their rookie camp roster. The team’s rookies will take the field at McMahon Stadium for the first time at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Click on their name for full bio information. Nationals QB Andrew Buckley: Chosen in the seventh round by Calgary in the 2015 CFL draft. He was voted as the top player in Canadian university football last season as he helped the University of Calgary become the first team in Canada West history to break the 5,000-mark in total offence. He had a 64.3 completion percentage, 2,175 passing yards and 18 touchdowns while throwing only four interceptions. Buckley also finished fifth in Canada West rushing with 510 yards, the most of any quarterback in the country. DB Tevaughn Campbell: Chosen in the third round by Calgary in the 2015 draft. With the University of Regina in 2014, Campbell started the first seven games at cornerback before being sidelined in Week 8 due to injury. He had 17 solo tackles, four assisted tackles and four pass breakups. He is the school’s all-time leader in average yards per kickoff return (21.2) and No. 2 in average yards per punt return (10.5). Campbell was a Canada West all-star and second team All-Canadian in 2013. DB Dexter Janke: A fifth-round selection by the Stampeders in the 2015 draft. Janke played junior football for the Okanagan Sun in 2014 and registered 14 tackles, five assisted tackles, three interceptions and one forced fumble. He also had nine kickoff returns for 296 yards and 11 punt returns for 91 yards. Prior to joining the Sun, he played running back for the University of Saskatchewan. Internationals DB Royce Adams: Signed with the National Football League’s New York Jets on Jan. 5, 2012, and attended training camp with the Cleveland Browns in 2014. He played with the Arena Football League’s Pittsburgh Power in 2011. Adams played four seasons (2006-09) at Purdue and recorded 91 tackles during his career with the Boilermakers with one interception and one forced fumble. DB Trevor Coston: Signed as an undrafted free agent with the Chicago Bears on Apr. 29, 2012. Coston attended training camp with the Detroit Lions in 2013 and was with the Arena Football League’s Cleveland Gladiators in 2014. Coston played four seasons (2008-11) at Maine and was a three-year starter for the Black Bears. OL Rico Forbes: Attended training camp with the BC Lions in 2014. He finished his collegiate career at Washington State in 2013 as he played in 13 games for the Cougars and made five starts at right tackle. Prior to attending Washington State, Forbes played two seasons at Navarro College in Corsicana, Tex. LB Maleki Harris: Harris played four seasons (2011-14) for the South Alabama Jaguars. During his senior season, he played 12 games and recorded 95 total tackles including nine tackles for loss. He added four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, one sack and one interception as he earned second-team all-Sun Belt Conference honours. LB Tahj Jones: Played four seasons (2010-13) at LSU and had 47 tackles, including five tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in 36 games, including five starts. REC Greg Wilson: Attended San Francisco 49ers rookie camp in 2013 and was added to the Denver Broncos practice roster on Jan. 15, 2014. He played two seasons at Fordham and made 67 catches for 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns. DL Anthony Woodard: Played two seasons (2011-12) at Bethune-Cookman University. In 2012, he played 12 games and recorded 15 tackles including two tackles for loss and two quarterback hurries. The Stampeders have also released national RB Bo Palmer, international LB Maalik Bomar and international REC Nicholas Johnson while international OL Cory Brandon has been placed on the retired list.
