Pretty disappointing to say the least.

Good to see the team deal with it swiftly and good to see Jon owning up to a stupid move.

Hey, don't worry about it Jon. A lot of Rider fans would have been confused... they would have thought they we looking in a mirror! :)

Would LOVE to be a fly on the wall for that Hufnagel/Cornish conversation.

Hey Jon, what did you say to the ref when it looked like he got in your way?

You didn't look like a happy camper.

Awesome Jon. I probably would have done the same thing. Good on ya and even better for doing all the right things afterwards. You are only human. Great game, great season.

The Rider fans behind the visitor's bench at Mosaic are total ass clowns. Their behaviour takes players patience to the max. Just too bad Jon did what he did as now they'll be on him like they were on Hank. He never should have let those douche fans get under his skin. He made a mistake. He apologized. His apology is accepted by this fan. Time to move on.

Great post Iso. The way some people have reacted you would think Cornish pulled a gun out of his pants and shot somebody.

Jock Wilson thinks he should be suspended. What garbage. Then he went further & said that the actions of the fans at Mosaic shouldn't be a consideration into what happened. Wilson says that that they pay good money so they can do what they want. Yeah, like throw bottles at the BC Lions bench. I don't condone Cornish's actions but let's call a spade a spade, the Rider fans are ass**** behind the visitors bench. The Riders refuse to do anything to reign in their idiot fans. It's open season on CFL players in that piece of crap buiding the Riders play in. And then Wilson's calling for a suspension?? Give me a break.

The fans behind the visitor bench in Calgary aren't exactly angels. It's the nature of the beast.

Never heard of them throwing bottles & garbage at opposing players. I once had a guy break a whiskey bottle & point the broken shard at me in that stadium. All because the Riders lost.

I have. Watched it happen including throwing drinks at security guards. A couple of idiots ruin things for everyone but it's not just one stadium's issue.

Bottom line, Mr.Cornish made an error in judgement. Unfortunately it happened, but now we must move on a recover from a loss in Saskatchewan and get ready for Edmonton on Friday, who is going to be very hungry for a win after their loss to BC.
