Stamps roll over Riders
The Stamps played with heart for the first time this season. The OL won this game for them. Gotta give credit where credit is due. They pushed around the Riders DL. So much so that Chamblin erupted on that group. Said they were embarassing. Nice way for Chamblin to react.
when everyone expects calgary to win they lose. when everyone expects them to lose they win.
The oline did its part and more to win this game but this was a good team effort. For once the goat horns can be left in the closet.
Let Darian wear them. The Rider Nation is not happy.
How many losses in a row is that now for the "best team" in the CFL out of the gate this year? I would feel sorry for them but-- okay no I wouldn't. That's a lie.
I'm not sure why everyone was so impressed with Cornish though. He didn't even hit 170 yards on the ground.
From Busby's blog, I wonder what was being said to the Stamps on their sideline?
Nevertheless, today the Stamps at least are not in the basement of the CFL West basement.
that smiley will not protect you from ztella's wrath. beware
Lol I'm okay with that as long as he keeps putting up only 150 yards on the ground a game.
They're got and cold, just like last year.
One thing I both love and hate about the CFL is that there is ZERO consistency from game to game. You honestly have no idea who is going to win 95% of the time.
Lol. what a bum eh. Player of the week on O and possibly the Cdn player of the week again IMO.
The real Cornish is starting to shine through with greater and greater frequency as the offensive line begins to gel. Coincidence?
No pun intended, right.
I think as a young pro running back now carrying the team he learned from his mistake a few weeks ago. We all make mistakes & say things we regret. Good for ztella.
I'm just glad we don't have to worry about him getting arrested like some players in this league (and former Stampeders running backs.)
Besides, he was right about the offensive line. Maybe it wasn't right to throw them under the bus publicly, but the unit sure seems to have turned around since then. I guess you can't argue with the results.
