Wow. Here's the attendance out of Allen, Texas.
Yeah, it is amazing... THAT would be something to see. Truly, Friday Night Lights. I think it gives you an idea of how insignificant the CFL is outside of Canada. Montreal & Toronto can't even or barely outdraw Texas HS football.
Here's a breakdown of the Texas state attendance records for high school football:
ALL-TIME HIGHEST ATTENDANCE
Texas High School Football Playoff Games
Attendance records are not always an official statistic kept at Texas
high school football playoff games, so state records are incomplete.

*state championship game
This game is considered the biggest crowd for a high school football game ever. In Buffalo, New York!
50,988 Kensington vs. Bennett-Civic Stadium Buffalo NY, Oct. 1948
Every CFL city should average 40,000 fans a game. Back thirty five years ago I actually thoughht that would happen. Man, was I wrong. The CFL has barely grown attendance wise & in some cases fallen off from the late 70's.
Every team shold but they're all too cheap to actual promote themselves. Add some splash and the people will come. But instead it's "The NFL's all hype" whining and then ordering Sunday Ticket to watch every game of it.
