With Rick Campbell leaving the Stampeders to take the HC position with Ottawa, who do you think the Stamps will bring in?

    Is Claybrooks an option?

Not enough experience in my view.

He's apparently pretty good as a D-Line coach, but DC is a more complicated job since it requires coordination of all facets of the defence in order to game plan.

I don't think Claybrooks would be ready for that.

    Yet. ;)

So, Mr. Campbell has moved on, great. For a replacement .... Mr. Claybrooks may surprise some, and be ready for the challenge. Hmmm!

Good luck to Campbell in Ottawa. I thought he was an excellent coordinator for the Stamps. I think Hufnagel will either promote from within with Claybrooks or go outside the CFL coaching circles and bring in someone from college south of the border. It wouldn't surprise me if Hufnagel, Murphy, and Mahoney have already found the candidate.

    A Creehan, perhaps?

Crazey, ex-Wpg. or his dad Fatty.

Creehan Jr. is rumored to Toronto.

Creehan Sr. is NCAA HC and apparently comfortable in his spot there.

Scott Mitchell's take on the new DC.

Some interesting candidates in running to become Calgary Stampeders new defensive co-ordinator
While Rick Campbell is beginning the process of filling out his Ottawa RedBlacks coaching staff, Calgary Stampeders GM/head coach John Hufnagel is searching for a new defensive co-ordinator.
However, it may not be the only hole Hufnagel & Co. are forced to fill once the coaching carousel stops spinning, as it's expected Campbell could pillage a coach or two from his former workplace.
